Seems like Gigafast has switched to Prism2 hardware:
/usr/src/linux-wlan-ng-0.2.1-pre13/src/prism2/driver$ grep -i 0x0ace prism2sta.c
{PRISM_USB_DEVICE(0x0ace, 0x1201, "ZyDAS ZD1201 Wireless USB Adapter")},
Use the wlan-ng driver.
